In my filmmaking I bring a career’s worth of curiosity as a director, cinematographer and editor; a fulsome metier where each discipline informs and buttresses the other.

As such, my intuition has always drifted towards the somatic reality of the subject matter. How does it feel to be a soccer super fan? How does one’s life story evolve into one’s art? Where is the nature and power of performance in identity? Even as a cinematographer my style drifts towards the intimate and the experiential.

This motivation for the personal story runs me straight into Artificial Intelligence and the possibilities it represents. Just yesterday I was marveling at a conversation on the Ten Percent Happier podcast about the surprising potential applications of AI in spiritual and relational understanding (added below!) There are so many facets to being human, so many panes to the prism of our identity. Exploring that story in a personal, beautiful, respectful way should be both surprising and uplifting.
