ESPN GLOBAL FOOTBALL

Toddy has worked closely with the ESPN Promotional Marketing team to develop and execute campaigns for their coverage of global football tournaments. Starting with the 2008 European Championships where, as and editor, he watched hours upon hours of football matches to discover the most blatant-yet-playful stereotypes for some of the tournaments favorites, to the 2014 World Cup where, as a writer/producer/editor/b-cam director, he won an Emmy and helped the team to a Clio and bevy of internal awards.


Alongside the award winning campaign work on the 2014 World Cup, Toddy wrote and shot a branded content series series. The “Global City” has a bar (or two) for any ex-pat crowd you’d care to name, each with passion for their home nation’s team. For ESPN’s cross promotional partnership with Bacardi’s Untameable Spirit campaign, Toddy captured the magic and passion of soccer fans in NYC.
